Inouye Design specializes in the design of high-end custom homes for discriminating clients and has won numerous awards for functional and aesthetic home designs and floor plans. Inouye Design was formed in 1997 by Aaron Inouye to provide excellent service coupled with outstanding design in order to create extraordinary housing projects that reflect the desires and personality of each homeowner. Integral to providing quality service is maintaining attention to detail, utilizing cutting edge 3D computer technology, and incorporating every client’s specific requirements by listening to the client’s demands and working closely with them to achieve a successful design and experience that blends the homeowner’s individual lifestyle with the project’s unique setting.
Inouye Design has created designs for custom residential architecture in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. These projects vary in size from 1,500 to 35,000 square feet. Many of these homes have been featured in publications such as Utah Home and Style, Edge Builders, Leading Residential Builders, and Utah Valley Magazine as well as two separate appearances on the television show Hot Homes of Utah.
Inouye Design utilizes the latest technologies in computer aided design/drafting. All custom projects are created in a three-dimensional virtual environment where the design process can be taken to a higher level of refinement and creativity that can be better visualized by homeowners. These capabilities, joined with a hard working staff, allow for the production of high quality working drawings for successful building projects.

Aaron Inouye was born in Tacoma, Washington, grew up in Orem, Utah and graduated from the University of Utah where he studied Architecture and Business. He currently resides in Orem with his wife and children. He has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Israel, and Europe and has been active in the local Historic Preservation Committee. Aaron Inouye is a member of the national and local home builder’s associations as well as Build Green Utah.
